Ovingham Level Crossing Removal

Client: Outside Ideas  |  Location: Bowden, SA  |  Sector: State Government

It was a pleasure to be involved with the PTP Alliance on a project of this magnitude, delivered on behalf of The Department for Infrastructure and Transport. Our involvement in this project was beneath the Karrarendi Yerta (Torrens Road Bridge), near the Torrens Road and Churchill Road intersection. Our dedicated team has proudly been involved in installing both the rubber safety surfacing and the acrylic surfacing for the sports courts in the Karrarendi Yerta Kadla plaza.

PlayKote Gezolan EPDM granules were installed in two colours for the rubber surfacing component, with Greenset Acrylic surfacing used in 5 colours to create the remarkable court surfacing for this project. We are pleased with the final result produced by our hardworking team, among many others.

The PTP Alliance removed the rail level crossing on Torrens Road, Ovingham, to improve travel times, connectivity and safety for all road and rail users. The project was jointly funded (50:50) by the Australian and South Australian governments.
