SCA undertook the equipment installation and Acrylic court resurfacing components of the Wirreanda Secondary School rejuvenation. The equipment installation commenced with the excavation of footings and the assembly of 6 x Raptor basketball Towers, 8 x sleeved NS60 netball Poles and 8 sleeved TBW75 Tennis Posts.
The preparation for six multi courts across two areas totalling 4040m2 began with the four multisport courts on the Northern side of the school. These four courts were installed on a brand new bitumen sub base, utilising the Greenset Grand Prix Acrylic system in the colours of True Blue and Velocity blue. The line marking for netball, basketball and tennis was then applied to the courts.
The two eastern courts also saw an upgrade to the acrylic, these were concrete courts with a delaminating acrylic coating. SCA diamond grinded the entire surface back to clean concrete, patching a number of substantial joints in the slab, and installing a 3 coat acrylic system in True Blue and Velocity Blue. The two eastern courts had line marking applied for netball and basketball.
