The Coomera Westfield project involved the development of two play spaces – The Village Play Space and The Backyard Play Space.
SCA was responsible for the installation of the PlayKote SBR rubber base coat to all surface areas, followed by the top surfaces being either PlayKote Gezolan EPDM or 35mm synthetic grass surfacing. The incredibly detailed surfacing design was labour intensive and required a high level of precision to execute, this was especially vital across areas where the mounds were located. The mounding to the slide also had to be exact to ensure the synthetic grass accurately wrapped and adhered to the mounds.
