The EAP tennis facilities were upgraded over an area of approximately 3158m2 using the Greenset Grand Prix Acrylic System – The surface choice of Tennis Australia. The total area consisted of six standard sized tennis courts and six hot shot tennis courts. Initially the asphalt base was examined to check it was within tolerances. There were multiple areas with 3mm+ variances over three metres, which were rectified prior to the area then being pressure cleaned. The installation of the Greenset three coat Acrylic Sports System commenced following this process. The first stage involved the installation of one black base coat, followed by two coats of colour. On completion of the acrylic surfacing component the line marking was applied, resulting in the completion of six tennis courts and six hot shot courts.
