The redevelopment of St Albans Reserve in Clearview was awarded to our South Australian team. We were commissioned to undertake full construction of a 120 metre 8 lane running track, in addition to full resurfacing of the existing Long Jump, High Jump and Pole Vault run ups. Our team installed an SBR and EPDM comprised rubber sandwich system to meet the surfacing requirements of this project. Once the top layer has cured, the excess EPDM granule is swept away, providing a watertight, flexible, spike resistant athletic surface. This IAAF certified product is ideal for competition level athletics facilities, naturally this was the most suitable product for this surfacing project.
