Oaklands Crossing Community Connections Play Space

Client: Outside Ideas  |  Location: Oaklands Park, SA  |  Sector: Local Government

This project is derived from the Smart Cities and Suburbs Program, which is part of a national initiative aiming to improve connectivity within regional centres. The Oaklands Crossing Community connections project was designed to specifically improve streetscapes, pedestrian and cyclist activity, technologies enhancing the local community and the creation of a large public park with new playground and amenities. Our team was responsible for the rubber safety surfacing component of the new play space, spanning approximately 252m2. PlayKote Gezolan EPDM was utilised to create the surface predominantly in Dark Green, with the design incorporating a combination of Pink and Bright Orange circles of varying sizes. SCA are proud to be involved in delivering an engaging, interactive playspace for the local community.
