This inclusive water play playground was a joint initiative between the Fraser Coast Regional Council and Queensland Government. SCA QLD was subcontracted by Playscape Creations to supply and install the rubber safety surfacing component throughout different areas of the park using PlayKote Gezolan EPDM granules in Lilac, Bright Blue, Green, Pink, Bright Red, Red, Bright Green, Yellow and Eggshell. These colours were selected to best complement the equipment installation by Playscape Creations. Prior to commencing, the site conditions were assessed and our team coordinated the rubber installation with the equipment installers. We also ensured that the base had been prepared to the correct thickness and a significant enough compaction was allowed, enabling us to install the correct thickness levels as nominated by the equipment manufacturer.
